Thai hand tool manufacturers eye growing Middle East market

Hardware+Tools Middle East 2014 to feature debut of Thai Pavilion
Hardware and Tools manufacturers from Thailand are looking towards the Middle East as a prospective market to widen their international footprint.
Hardware & DIY Exporter Club of Thailand, the Thailand hand tools exporters association plays a major role in supporting the debut of the Thailand Pavilion at Hardware+Tools Middle East 2014. These companies from the Southeast Asian nation reputed for its growing industrial output, are looking forward to engaging with trade buyers and industry professionals from the Middle East.
The countries of the Middle East are a growing market for hand and power tools, construction machinery and building material, the sectors serviced by Hardware+Tools Middle East. Over the past thirteen years the trade show has grown to be the preferred trade and networking platform for an increasing number of international manufacturers and suppliers looking to attract the attention of regional buyers.
“Thailand has a growing manufacturing and industrial sector and it’s not surprising that they are looking to reach out to the growing markets of the wider Middle East, North and East Africa through their debut participation here,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Hardware + Tools Middle East will provide the best possible networking and business generation opportunities for the debuting Thai exhibitors.”

First established in 1998 with the cooperation of the Department of Export Promotion of Thailand, the Hardware And D.I.Y. Exporter Club of Thailand (HADEC) is a cooperative group formed by leading Thai manufacturers and exporters with manufacturing expertise in a wide range of tools and machinery products, in order to better promote Thai products on the international stage.
Making their bow on the Thailand Pavilion are a range of companies including: Bangkok Tools Industrial Company with their tool chests, cutters, shelving units and hose clamps; Fulong Industry Company Ltd., who will showcase cutting and grinding tools; D. Enterprises with arc welding and plasma cutting machines; Polawat Engine Company, with a range of engines, brush cutters and plant machinery, and Solex International displaying a variety of locks designed for various applications and uses.
Hardware +Tools Middle East 2014, which will be held from June 3rd to 5th, 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, is expected to feature more than 200 exhibitors.
As the leading trade event for hand tools, materials and machinery across the Middle East, the exhibition is expected to draw strong interest from manufacturers worldwide..
