Jumeirah at Etihad Towers boosts share of luxury conferences, weddings and events market

Abu Dhabi, 23 March 2014: Jumeirah at Etihad Towers will showcase its diverse and growing meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) portfolio at this year’s edition of the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM), which takes place on 25 March 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

A total of 708 events were held at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers during 2013, a 63% increase on the previous year. Despite the recent increase in new MICE venues opening in Abu Dhabi, the property’s market share in 2013 continued to increase, consolidating its market-leading role within the emirate. A popular luxury wedding venue, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers saw a total of 26 weddings held at its Conference Centre - an increase of 18% compared to the previous year.
