Dubai Festival City the home of Jazz celebrates the 12th edition of Emirates Airlines Dubai Jazz Festival

Dubai, February 12, 2014 – The 12thedition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival will be hosted at Dubai Festival City for the third year. Many Dubai Festival City Mall visitors as well as residents of Dubai Festival City have been provided with complimentary tickets to attend jazz and blues performances by some of the world’s acclaimed artists.
“We are very excited to host this must-see musical event that has grown substantially to become a key regional gathering where leading musicians from around the globe gather to showcase their talent. Dubai Festival City has welcomed many world-class artists over the years and this festival is yet another major happening that further enhances our reputation as one of the UAE’s major entertainment destinations,” said Murray Bell, Managing Director, Dubai Festival City.
Beyond the amazing Jazz and Blues performances, the event is set to feature leading pop and rock sensations including the legendary Carlos Santana, Olly Murs and The Wanted among many others.
“To facilitate access to this signature event, we are organising a free shuttle bus service from Dubai Festival City Mall to the Jazz Festival venue for pick-up and drop-off of all Jazz Festival goers. Ticket holders are advised to park their cars at the Mall and opt for this unique and convenient service,” added Bell.
During the Festival, Jazz ticket holders will also be treated to special offers at some of Dubai’s world-famous restaurants at Dubai Festival City Mall including Traders Vic’s, Jamie’s Italian and restaurants at Al Badia Golf Club and Dubai Festival City Crown Plaza hotel.
Mr. Bell concluded: “Our ultimate goal is to continuously make everyone’s visit to Dubai Festival City extra special and hassle free. In conjunction with the Jazz Festival, visitors are also invited to enjoy the iconic Light and Water Show that is taking place daily at the Mall until the end of February.”
