DHA health professionals continue ongoing training for ‘Future Health Leaders' programme

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, February 9, 2014: The second semester of the Future Health Leaders training programme for professionals from the healthcare industry began today.
The nine-month intensive training programme is organized by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in collaboration with International Hospital Federation (IHF) and Index Holding.
Maryam Abdulla Bin Subaih, Director of Human Resources at the DHA, said: “ This programme has been tailor-made specially keeping in mind the nuances of the health sector in the emirate. The aim of this programme is to help potential healthcare leaders take their skills to the next level. Development of human resources is a key parameter for success and the DHA has always recognized and paid attention to training and development of our staff. Such programmes reaffirm our commitment in the field of continuous medical education.”
During the first semester, participants underwent training in the basics of management and administration skills needed to run hospitals and health centres effectively. Now, they will learn in details about health care management and strategies that can positively contribute to the overall development of the health sector.
