Strength, Endurance, Technique and Calorie Burning
Tuesday 4th, February, 2014: Training effectively in the pool is about more than simply swimming lengths. That's why Speedo has developed a range of high performance Training Aids, which help to tone specific areas of the body, as well as improving swimming technique.
Concentrating on the four key areas of Strength, Endurance, Technique and Calorie Burning, the wide range of Speedo training aids combine to offer a full body workout, effectively enabling users to swap the gym for the pool.
If you're looking to improve body strength, the Speedo Biofuse® Power Paddles are engineered for maximum resistance and are ideal for increasing upper body strength, while Speedo Biofuse Training Fins can improve leg strength and speed. Speedo Biofuse Finger Paddles meanwhile, are designed to encourage correct hand positioning in the water, which improves stroke technique.
The Elite Pullkick and Elite Kickboard provide superb buoyancy in the water, allowing every swimmer to focus more easily on improving their technique, whilst the Elite Pullbuoy is designed to isolate the upper body, enabling swimmers to enjoy a really focused workout in the water, with every ounce of effort going in to strengthening the arms and shoulders.
After any workout, it's great to know what you have achieved and the Speedo Aquacoach® Watch tracks key performance attributes during a swim, including calories burned and distance covered, and even detects the type of stroke, enabling swimmers to closely monitor the effectiveness of their workouts, and achieve their weight loss goals more easily.
Speedo Training Aids are available in Studio R and Stadium Stores and other reputable sporting outlets across the Middle East.
