SEHA to participate in seventh Abu Dhabi Medical Congress & Exhibition

Event to facilitate exchange of best practice and strategies in delivering quality healthcare
Abu Dhabi – 26th Oct 2013: The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has announced its participation at the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress & Exhibition (ADMC), which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 27th to 29th October 2013. This medical congress is one of the most prominent event in the Middle East as it brings together healthcare companies, organisations and professionals working in specialised areas beneath one roof for the purpose of exchanging scientific and commercial experience and expertise. The individuals involved in the latest iteration of ADMC includes experts in the fields of emergency services, patient safety, primary healthcare and rehabilitation.
Doctors, professionals and specialists from SEHA's network of healthcare providers will participate in the scientific and medical sessions of the congress. They will be contributing papers in a variety of disciplines dealing with successful experiences and developments at SEHA's facilities. These will be particularly focused on the areas of emergency, accidents and nursing, family medicine, paediatric diseases and surgery, chronic diseases, obstetrics and gynaecology, and other healthcare issues.
The conference will gather together healthcare stakeholders and experts in the areas of patient safety, ambulance services, rehabilitation and primary healthcare in order to facilitate the exchange of experiences within various health sectors. The conference activities will enable over 200 international speakers to share their insights, while 150 exhibiting companies from 32 countries around the world will offer world-renowned advanced technologies under one roof. There will also be the opportunity for all participants to exchange scientific knowledge and experience, and to enjoy opportunities to establish business and networking relationships with those present.
H.E. Saif Bader Al-Qubaisi, Chairman of SEHA, stated that SEHA is keen to participate in ADMC, in order to benefit from the topics and presentations taking place, which will be conducted by the international specialists during the conference. The annual medical congress will also allow SEHA's professionals and specialists to seize the opportunity of sharing ideas and expertise, and become more informed about the successful experiences in the field of healthcare.
“The supporting exhibitions will allow for healthcare decision-makers and procurement teams in the UAE to learn a great deal about the advanced technologies and techniques that are being offered. To come into contact with over 150 specialised companies from 32 countries across the world will be very valuable for SEHA's participants, and we intend to investigate the feasibility of introducing the latest technologies within hospitals and clinics in the UAE,” he said.
SEHA is currently building several hospitals, primary healthcare centres and other medical facilities in order to meet both the current and future growing needs of the populace, cope expediently with the population growth in Abu Dhabi, and provide high-quality healthcare service to its residents. Experts from SEHA will be briefed on the latest medical developments offered by the exhibiting companies, and our wish for them to acquire all that is new within these fields in order to better serve clients of SEHA's health facilities,” he added.
