“Water and power are concerns that resonate throughout the Middle East in the face of water scarcity and the energy requirements of a burgeoning population coupled with resurgent economic activity. The supply-demand challenges posed are complex because they extend across a diversity of sectors and public sector bodies. The Arabian Water and Power Forum will gather decision makers in the industry who have the ability to influence investments and regulations, and work towards sustainable solutions,” said Gurpreet Hayre, Producer of the Arabian Water & Power Forum at The CWC Group.

Sessions focused on policy and regulation development for energy efficiency and sustainability, and current developments in power and water to identify supply-demand gaps, will support this key discussion with specific focus on energy sources including hybrid energy, gas power, cost-effective fuel diversification and solar power generation.
