Western Region Police Opens its Awareness-Raising Exhibition at the Liwa Date Festival

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, July 20th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: Hundreds of visitors flocked to the awareness-raising exhibition at the Liwa Date Festival, organized by the Western Region Police at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. It is noteworthy that the exhibition is part of the Liwa Date Festival's events, featuring awareness-raising teams from the Public Relations Department at the Directorate with a view to acquaint the public with its police services and targeted initiatives.
The awareness-raising exhibition organized by the Police features is characterized by the new approach, aimed at familiarizing the public with the glorious past of ADP and its major phases within the development and modernization process, down to its modern prominent present.
In his address on the occasion, Colonel Ojail Ali Abdullah, Director of the Western Region Police underscored the keenness of the Directorate to regularly attend and participate effectively in the various activities held in the Western Region, out of its commitment to achieve efficient communication with members of society in their various interests and different activities. This comes in line with the Directorate's slogan “We are where the Public Needs us” to offer the services expected from us, and to enhance community members' confidence in our services and our promises to protect them and safeguard their security and properties all the time and everywhere.
The awareness-raising exhibition organized by the Western Region Police Directorate is expected to witnesses a significant influx of visitors and interested people. For this purpose, a team was formed to serve visitors and introduce them to the exhibition's various pavilions. Moreover, the public will be acquainted with the Directorate and the services it provides to the public, through brochures and continuous presentations on the large screens provided on site.
