Vandana Gandhi honored with Dubai Government's prestigious “Emirates Woman Award”

- Overall Winner in Business Category, she becomes the 1st ever Indian woman entrepreneur to receive the esteemed honor

- Founder and CEO of Middle East's only ISO certified nursery chain, “British Orchard Nursery”, she gets the coveted award for business excellence and innovation in preschool education.

July 2, 2013, Dubai, UAE: Ms. Vandana Gandhi, Founder and CEO of Middle East's only ISO certified Nursery chain, British Orchard Nursery, received the coveted “Emirates Woman Award” for business excellence, making her the first ever Indian woman entrepreneur to receive such an honour for excelling and providing innovation in preschool education. The Emirates Women's Award 2013 (EWA) honoured local and expatriate business achievers from diverse fields, however amongst several hundred entries she was chosen to be the “Overall Winner in Business Category”. Organized by the Dubai Quality Group, the award ceremony selected the winners based on their leadership skills, strategy and financial planning, achievement levels, community contribution and innovation.
