Winners of the Seventh Edition of DXB Snow Run Announced

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 18 May 2026: In collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, Ski Dubai announced the winners of the seventh edition of DXB Snow Run, which took place on Sunday, 17 May. The unique event saw 1,000 athletes aged 13-70 from 70 nationalities, including 327 Emiratis, running either 3km or 5km on the slopes of the World's Best Indoor Ski Resort.

 

Amongst the esteemed guests were: Rashed Mohammed Abdulla, Head of Events Planning & Execution Section - Dubai Sports Council, and Mohammad El Etri, Managing Director UAE/OMAN, Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, who presented trophies to the winners of each category.

 

Pia Hansske triumphed in the Women's 5km race after running five laps of Ski Dubai in 0:24:41, while Egor Mishutin came out on top in the Men's 5km with a finish time of 0:20:32. Sophie Geddes was the overall winner of the Women's 3km with an impressive time of 0:18:25, and Mohammed Al Hassani won the Men's 3km in 0:13:38. In the Team's category, Team Dubai Police took the top spot with an average time of 0:16:37.

 

Under the theme of "Growing in Unity" in the UAE Year of Family, the unique -4⁰C running experience brought together families, friends, and communities together and received an overwhelming response from the sport-loving community.

 

Ski Dubai and Dubai Sports Council regularly collaborate to host fun and unique events, given their shared goal to improve community wellbeing by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and making snow sports accessible to everyone.

 

Stay tuned for the inaugural edition of HYROX in the Snow. In collaboration with Dubai Sports Council and powered by Athlete Fitness, the first-of-its-kind functional fitness and endurance training will take place on Sunday, 28 June, at Ski Dubai.
