Last Update: Saturday, January 28, 2023 : 09:57 (+4GMT)
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 January 2023: The 28th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, the longest running festival of its kind in the world, is sadly coming to an end after 46 days of exceptional experiences. DSF will be saying its farewells after just one more weekend featuring a packed line-up of entertainment, offers, prizes, and more.
The final three days of DSF (27-29 January) see a citywide celebration including unmissable deals and incredible chances to win, from the DSF Final Sale to the DSF Greatest Deal of the Year; plus amazing pop-up markets and concepts including Etisalat MOTB, Cactus District, and SKIN CARE NATION at Mall of the Emirates. The tenth edition of Al Quoz Arts Fest also takes place over DSF’s closing weekend with two days of the best art and culture from the region. And it’s the very last chance to enjoy the Dubai Lights installations illuminating City Walk, Dubai Design District, and Palm Jumeirah before they're gone, forever.
FIREWORKS, DRONES AND LASER SHOWS
Make sure to catch the biggest light show yet to close DSF on 29 January at The Beach, JBR, and Bluewaters with mesmerising drone and laser shows, as well as fireworks at 10 PM. And be there to witness the last illuminating DSF Daily Fireworks spectacle, lighting up the skies at The Pointe on 28 January.
FINAL SALES AND CHANCES TO WIN
The DSF Final Sale will supercharge shoppers with deals, promotions, offers and chances to win across Dubai. It runs from 27 January to 29 January, with further reductions and discounts from 25-90% off a huge range of items from over 500 participating brands at over 2,000 stores across the city. Savvy shoppers should make the most of unmissable deals on everything from fashion and footwear, to accessories, health and beauty, sportswear, electronics, homeware and more.
There’s still time to win big too. Shoppers should make the most of DSF raffles before they vanish, including DSF SHARE Millionaire, DSF Golden Tickit, DSF Greatest Deal of the Year, and Everyone’s A Winner. From a million dirhams to AED 100,000 Tickit points, to SHARE points and scratch cards with guaranteed prizes, these raffles have something for everyone.
And it’s the last chance to participate in DSF Black Box ‘Guess and Win’. Simply spend more than AED 200 at select Majid Al Futtaim Malls, then guess the prize inside the box to win it. The contest is live at City Centre Deira until 31 January and minimum spend applies to purchases made in all stores, with the exception of Carrefour. One winner will be selected.
It’s Raining Gold with Jumbo, literally, with 46 daily winners getting 10 grams of gold each, six weekly winners getting 50 grams of gold each, and one mega winner getting 250 grams of gold. All shoppers need to do is to spend over AED 1,000 at Jumbo stores or Jumbo.ae.
POP-UPS AND MORE
For all skincare enthusiasts, head to Mall of the Emirates, for the unique pop-up SKIN CARE NATION from FACES celebrating all things skincare. Running until 30 January during mall operating hours, shoppers can head to the pop-up to learn what’s right for their personal skincare needs, and pick up the best skincare tips, tricks, and products live and direct from beauty experts.
Discover a whole new retail experience at Cactus District, in its 10th and latest edition. The travelling platform for high-end local and regional brands comes to Dubai from 27-29 January. Showcasing only the most unique pieces and championing regional and local talent, the pop-up arrives at Dear All Space at Al Quoz 1. Shoppers will find a carefully curated selection of clothing, jewellery, beauty, and so much more. Take home amazing designs from must-have brands including GABI, Collide, ARAYA, Aeon Jewellery, illi, Harlinez, and Klekktic.
Dubai’s first of its kind, alternative shopping concept, Etisalat MOTB is back, and quite simply, an unmissable part of DSF. Hosting a hand-picked selection of local, regional and international vendors and food kiosks, plus live entertainment, arcades and activities, this year it’s in a new, even bigger location at Dubai Design District, and is inspired by all things New York City. Running through to 29 January, it’s the perfect place to pick up those exclusive and never-seen-before items that can’t be found at any mall.
As well as the best of local and regional vendors, Etisalat MOTB is also home to Rihanna’s global beauty brand, Fenty Beauty’s Beauty Trailer. Find the perfect foundation match, ask a make-up artist for a glow up, and play the claw machine or the XO game.
Etisalat MOTB is also showcasing some of the best local talent with Dubai Beats with just two more nights left - and a changed line-up to accommodate changeable weather conditions. Performances will now take place on 28 and 29 January with performances from Mouslem, Hossam Silawy, Shamma Hamdan and more sounds from the region. Entry to the event is completely free of charge.
ARTS AND CULTURE
Calling all creative enthusiasts - The Quoz Arts Fest will return to Alserkal Avenue on 28 and 29 January. Featuring a diverse and dynamic programme of more than 200 activations, including curated workshops, galleries and exhibitions, and live performances from the likes of Saint Levant, Bu Kolthoum and more. There are also plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained and an array of food trucks to quench anyone’s hunger.
It's the last chance to see City Walk glowing with installations from Dubai Lights: The Spark Within, which runs untill 29 January. This series of 10 installations from leading artists and studios working in light celebrates the power, resilience, and positivity of light and sound, as a symbol of connection between people, places, and nature. More installations that make up the second annual edition of Dubai Lights can also be found in Dubai Design District (d3), and Palm Jumeirah.
Shop, win and be entertained with the 28th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival until 29 January 2023 with incredible deals, innovative events, world-class entertainment and life-changing prizes. Featuring the ultimate retail therapy from a wide range of homegrown and global brands as well as live concerts, outdoors markets, pop-up dining and more, this year’s DSF experience is not to be missed.
