Sharjah Performing Arts Academy named One of the Top 10 Universities and Colleges in GCC by the Higher Education Review

Applications now open for 2023 admissoins to the only dedicated academy of its kind in the region with live and online auditions taking place through January and February 2023.
United Arab Emirates, Sharjah – 10, January 2023: Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA), a world-leading performing arts education and training institution, has been named as one of the GCC’s top 10 universities and colleges in the GCC for its exceptional academic expertise, capability to evolve in the educational field and transformational impact on its students’ careers.
The highly respected Higher Education Review published a detailed examination of the Academy, including its diverse range of courses, their strive to continually set new benchmarks and passion for offering their students a promising and rich future. The review praised SPAA for expanding concepts of intelligence beyond academic abilities and inspiring students through offering them real world performing and production arts experiences, fueling creativity and confidence. Speaking with Professor Peter Barlow, Executive Director of Sharjah Performing Arts Academy, the Higher Education Review highlighted how SPAA encourages students to channel their natural gifts and abilities in order to develop the skills required for their chosen career, which is undertaken through focused training and education, individual coaching, mentoring and internship opportunities, all guided by their qualified, motivated and nurturing team.
Sharjah Performing Arts Academy are thrilled to announce this exciting achievement, coinciding with with live auditions for students in Morocco on Monday, 16 January, part of The Arab Theatre festival, as well as live and online auditions for local and international students running throughout January and February at the Academy.
