ENOC Group Teams up with Dubai Cares to Upgrade Learning Spaces at National Charity Private School - Girls in Nasiriyah Sharjah

• Held as part of the 3rd and final edition of Volunteer Emirates 2022, the initiative brought together 100 volunteers to enhance the school environment with the replacement of furniture, educational murals and other activities
Dubai, UAE - 11 December 2022: The National Charity Private School – Girls in Nasiriyah, Sharjah is ready to welcome students with an enhanced look, thanks to 100 volunteers who came together as part of the 3rd and final edition of Volunteer Emirates 2022, organized by Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and supported by ENOC Group.
Volunteers of different ages and nationalities teamed up recently to replace the furniture for various areas used by both students and teachers, in addition to reorganizing the library and arts room and drawing fun and educational murals across the school’s corridors. ENOC Group also provided the school with laser printers and extended its support for the installation of shades to cover the school yard and maintenance of the school’s washroom facilities.
“The physical environment in which children learn is an important aspect of their educational journeys. We are grateful to ENOC and all the volunteers who contributed towards providing young minds at the National Charity Private School – Girls in Nasiriyah, Sharjah with safe and inspiring learning spaces that will support their overall growth and development and elevate their everyday experiences. The success of such outreach efforts is a wonderful showcase of the power of the community and what we can achieve when we come together to be a force for good,” said Abdulla Ahmed Alshehhi, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Cares.

“We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dubai Cares, ENOC and the volunteering community for giving our school a beautiful appearance with its new look through enhancements, which will help all the students feel joy and happiness when coming to learn every day. I’m very happy to see the new look and the smile on the faces of our students, which have made the school a safer and enjoyable place for learning and acquiring basic skills in their daily lives. We thank everyone for their cooperation,” said Etidal Sahwail, Principal of National Charity Private School - Girls in Nasiriyah, Sharjah.
“To serve as a volunteer is to believe that we are all part of one big family and we must look out for one another. I am grateful for the opportunity to support with the refurbishment work at the National Charity Private School - Girls in Nasiriyah, Sharjah and proud that my time and efforts will help young girls learn better and enjoy their time to the fullest while at school. I am glad I also got the chance to interact with other volunteers from across the UAE,” said Anjala Nizam, a volunteer participating in the initiative.
