UAE Residents Find the Golden Touch during the 25th Edition of Dubai Summer Surprises

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 29, August 2022: The 25th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) - the citywide celebration of festivities, family fun and amazing deals - wouldn’t be complete without a host of raffles and chances to win big at malls and outlets across the city. 

This year, the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) once again pulled out all the stops,  offering incredible prizes for residents and visitors throughout the summer season. To stand a chance of winning, shoppers simply have to spend a minimum of AED 500 on diamond and pearl jewellery to enter the raffle, with 20 lucky winners taking home AED 5,000 each in shopping vouchers to spend at participating DGJG outlets across the city. 

This year’s raffle winners include Jahangir, a resident of the UAE for 12 years, who said: “I had never taken part in a raffle before. This was my very first time participating and I won a gift voucher worth AED 5,000. I’m so happy! With this voucher, I can finally buy some gold for my mother back in Bangladesh. Thank you Dubai Summer Surprises!”

Vidhya has been in the UAE for almost two years. Commenting on her win, she said: “It’s the first time I’ve had the opportunity to win in a raffle draw, it was completely unexpected. My husband and I were really happy and thankful to the DGJG and DSS teams. We received a AED 5,000 voucher and bought a beautiful gold chain with it.”

Rosalie Francis, who has been in the UAE since 2019, said: “Whenever DSS season arrives, I accumulate receipts from participating outlets. This year was my lucky season. When my husband bought me a gift from Malabar Gold, we were given raffle tickets for a chance to win vouchers. I was so excited to know that I’m one of the winners of a AED 5,000 voucher!  I feel very blessed and happy. Now it’s my time to share this blessing, by giving it as a gift to my mom. We were unable to celebrate her birthday as we were all quarantined during her special day. I thank God for this wonderful gift and would like to extend my appreciation to the DSS team. ”

Zahra Ahmed, another lucky winner, said: “I have been a resident in Dubai for more than a year now. This is my first time participating in and winning a raffle. We bought some jewellery from Jawhara with the AED 5,000 gift voucher I won. I am so happy that I got to buy some gifts for my mom, all thanks to DSS.”
