Union Coop Pays Tribute to the Brave Martyrs on Commemoration Day 2020

As a tradition, the retail pioneer hoists the National Flag at half-mast in all of its 19 branches and malls to honor the sacrifices of the Martyrs
United Arab Emirates - November 30, 2020: Union Coop – the largest Consumer Coop in the UAE honored the anniversary of Commemoration day, an expression of pride in the eternal sacrifices of the UAE’s martyrs in the memory of the nation, as flags were set back in all of its 19 branches and malls.
On the occasion, H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said: - “Commemoration Day is a fresh memory for us which is mixed with the spirit of sacrifice and giving, which also indicates the true meaning of loyalty, belonging, love and sacrifice for the sake of the nation,” explaining that this day indicates the pride of the wise leadership and the people of the country in the sacrifices of the martyrs, who are righteous to uphold the Nation’s Flag and preserve the stability and peace of the nation.
He pointed out that: - “Union Coop is keen to revive National activities because it believes that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain an eternal page in the history of the nation and reflect a solemn scene of national cohesion, meaning that the memory of our martyrs will be blessed by Allah with the breath of his mercy and will dwell in the supreme paradise with the Prophets and friends, who all will remain immortal in us as long as we live.”
