Fifteen exclusive artistic design collections have been added to the ever-growing Origins Collective catalogue. Every month, five of the artists’ designs will be revealed.
United Arab Emirates, October 20, 2020: Home style and interior décor concept, Origins Collective, has just launched “The Artists” series featuring the work of UAE and regional artists transformed into cushion and ottoman covers. Each month, five new designs will be revealed, celebrating the artists’ creativity while also offering shoppers a fresh new batch of colorful and inspiring designs.
The ranges can now also be purchased on OriginsCollective.com.
Origins Collective strives to blend modern classics with a contemporary nod – think, bright, breezy and fun, blended with style and luxury.
Co-founder and manager Ruchika Sangal says: “We constantly search in the design, décor and artistic worlds for new designs that catch our eye. We bring life to art beyond paper or canvas. Collaborations such as these allow our customers to bring a pop of color, or a unique designer flourish into a room. We all know a change of cushion cover or a fresh new ottoman can alter the whole mood of a room – a great hack during these tough economic times.”
In addition to creating great exposure for an artist’s work, Origins Collective supports the up and coming artists with an incentive program. With each sale, the artists benefit from a portion of the proceeds. This community driven initiative was developed to maintain a level of sustainability while also encouraging local talents.
The artists include:
Emma Carter has developed a bright, quirky, graphic style of her own, often depicting Emirati citizens in various settings.
Visual storyteller and Winner of the 2019 Noon Artist Prize Sonu Sultania offers dreamy magical landscapes using muted shades.
Finance professional, turned artist, Nupur Jha collection has been inspired by her travels across continents. With a preference for the Abstract style, her paintings are earthy, sophisticated and carry contrasting images with equal ease.
Artist Chamodi Fernando focuses her talent on painting exquisite mandalas, creating pieces that relax the eyes and the mind, and bring a calming aspect to a room.
Shaymala Venkatesh's soothing oil paintings are inspired by the people and places around her, with the artist describing her pieces as poems without words.
Other news from Origins Collective:
- The collections can now be purchased via Postpay.io and for orders above AED 250, shoppers can pay in installments with ZERO interest for up to six months.
