** Booktopia announces Summer Reading Challenge 2020 to motivate children to read for pleasure over the summer holidays ** 

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 14, 2020:   Booktopia, an Independent family-run bookstore located in Dubai Festival City Mall, with over 25 years’ experience in the book industry, are launching a new free initiative to encourage children with a motivational, fun and educational challenge this summer holiday. With travel restrictions still implemented and hot weather keeping your kids indoors, Booktopia emphasizes the importance of reading to stimulate your child’s brain and giving them a challenge to build their reading skills and confidence. The Summer Reading Challenge will task your kids to explore books of different genres, accomplish interesting reading challenges, set reading goals, complete a reading Bingo and win the Booktopia Summer Reading Challenge Trophy!
 
Children of all ages are encouraged to participate in the Booktopia Summer Reading Challenge. With two categories of ages 2-7 and 7+ years, every child can enjoy their age appropriate challenges and let their imaginations run free. To really bring the challenge to life and make it a fun and interactive activity for both parents and kids, the challenge will take place in the form of Summer Reading Bingo. Each Bingo square represents a different reading genre, and when a row has been completed Booktopia will reward winners with a series of prizes and trophies, just like in a real bingo! Whether you’re looking for an activity to help you bond with your child this summer or just want them to spend more time embracing the habit of reading, the Booktopia Reading Challenge is sure to be the perfect way to see you through the summer holidays. 
 
Registrations are currently open on the Booktopia website or in store, for the Summer Reading Challenge where you will receive your free Bingo Card. The challenge begins on the 15th July – 20th August 2020 and once registered you will receive a Booktopia Reading Log to keep track of all of the books your children complete.
