Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 24 2020: Media Rotana Hotel Dubai announced the reopening of its doors to receive guests and visitors.
In the period prior to this opening, all the necessary preparations that fall under the framework of preventive precautionary measures were made, such as, conducting the necessary medical examinations to ensure the health and safety of the team, as well as a daily examination when entering and leaving the premises, in addition to performing comprehensive sterilization of all rooms and facilities. The hotel is preparing to welcome the guests starting from the 21st of June 2020.
The hotel has efficiently cleaned and sterilized the entire hotel with world-class sanitary chemicals, from the reception hall to the rooms, restaurants, the fitness hall and all other facilities. The hotel has also made the necessary changes according to all protocols to ensure that safety measures are provided to guarantee guests spend a safe and unforgettable stay and vacation.
Media Rotana has adopted pioneering health and safety practices by implementing strict protocols to protect guests and employees, as the hotel considers the health and safety of its team a top priority. Amongst the most important of these measures, is the commitment to the "Rotana Safe Space" program, which is based on providing a contactless experience throughout the guest's stay, and promoting continuous cleaning and disinfection practices.
The hotel, located in an ideal spot close to all the tourist sites in Dubai, invites its guests and visitors who wish to relax and spend a safe and comfortable holiday, to check-in online upon arrival or in advance via Rotana app or web browser. Upon arrival, the guest will park his car without relying on the parking service. The concierge team will sterilize the luggage of guests before entering the hotel. Everyone's temperature will also be measured before entering the premises each time, taking care to increase periods of cleaning operations in public places inside the hotel. Firstly, the rooms will be cleaned periodically, and cleanliness will be confirmed by placing a seal sticker on the doors after cleaning the room. This will ensure the guest has entered a safe and healthy world.
The hotel also pays great attention to cleaning and sterilizing public facilities and swimming pool according to the hotel’s health guidelines, in addition to placing a hand sanitizer in all hotel facilities for the use of guests. Meanwhile the hotel’s team has been trained to avoid close contact and maintain social distance, while reminding guests of the importance and necessity of the face mask and committing to social distancing, in order to guarantee their safety.
As for restaurants, a new system has been established to ensure social space between guests, and the provision of ordering food from the menu via the QR code. The team at the fitness hall also rearranged the placement of equipment to secure social separation, with an increase in the number of disinfections of all devices in the hall and sun loungers with sanitary and strict treatment of used towels.
The hotel has launched a set of attractive offers to attract residents in all emirates and encourage them to take a quick vacation in light of the movement of travel during the current time, which includes booking a stay for 2 nights and enjoy a 50% discount on room rates. To make the vacation even more exciting, amazing benefits were offered. Among the most important ones are 15% discount on restaurants, 25% on massages, and 20% on laundry services.
The Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing in Dubai (Dubai Tourism) has confirmed that hotel establishments in the emirate are ready to offer promotional packages to attract their guests, with the reopening of its gradual activity, after the tourism sector was affected by the repercussions of the pandemic "Covid-19", during the last period, where discounts will be offered on accommodation, restaurants, other facilities and services.
The department stated that, within the framework of the guidelines issued by the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai and the Dubai Health Authority, hotels have put the health and safety of their guests, as well as employees at the top of their priorities. This will allow them to feel secure and will bring them reassurance as they enjoy the various experiences provided for them. Accommodation, beaches, restaurants and swimming pools, as well as water activities will be of service.
The tourism sector aims during this stage to provide promotional offers directed to the local market to attract guests from other emirates, which is an important step to restore the natural pace of the sector in the coming period.
