Last Update: Wednesday, May 20, 2020 : 10:32 (+4GMT)
The brand’s first interactive digital game offers consumers the opportunity to win one of four KARL LAGERFELD shopping experiences worth AED250 starting May 19, 2020.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 20, 2020: KARL LAGERFELD is pleased to announce the launch of the “Maison KARL LAGERFELD” game, which can be played on desktop, tablet and mobile devices, and in select KARL LAGERFELD stores starting May 19 2020. Consumers in Dubai, Bahrain, KSA and Qatar are invited to play the game as often as desired, and once each week, the lucky winner with the highest score will receive a KARL LAGERFELD shopping experience worth AED 250.
In the game, the player must help Choupette navigate her way through the iconic KARL LAGERFELD Maison at 21 Rue St-Guillaume in Paris, as she searches for this season’s must-have styles and avoids the neighbourhood dogs. The goal is to collect as many pixel points as possible; Choupette can also score bonus points by collecting special KARL items like sunglasses, a camera, a handbag, Karl’s lucky number seven and the Eiffel Tower.
The unique and interactive game was inspired by the Spring 2020 Pixel collection, which features pixelated artworks of Karl and Choupette in primary shades of red, yellow and blue. Ready-to-wear includes a bouclé jacket and matching A-line skirt, with a slightly fringed finish and piping. Chic color blocking appears on a blouse, knitwear and a tunic. A pixelated image of Karl is featured as both a high-density print and in 3D studs, on sweatshirts, t-shirts and sweaters. There is also a pixelated QR code print with embroidery and a terry effect.
The accessories offering includes a range of playful styles. In textured leather, there’s a tote bag, small and medium top handle bags with removable shoulder straps, and a large textured leather pouch — all with pixelated artworks of Karl. Crafted from versatile nylon, there’s a backpack, a bumbag, and a tote with a functional QR code which links to KARL.COM when scanned with a mobile device. The collection further includes a passport holder, a zip wallet, a cap, a two-pack of socks and a keychain.
