Dubai, UAE, 04 December 2019: The Festive season is all about cherished moments with loved ones and this year Dubai Festival City Mall is set to be the ultimate festive celebratory destination with a host of magnificent activities and experiences being offered from 5th December to 29th December.
Throughout the festive period, visitors can watch the magical 20-meter tree lighting ceremony daily at 6pm and a special live show running every hour with the ‘Festive City Singers’ singing to your favourite festive songs and carols. Visitors can also head to Santa’s Grotto between 6pm and 10pm every night where the man in the red suit will appear for pictures and to receive the wish lists of the little ones.
Commenting on the event, Steven Cleaver, Director, Shopping Centres Dubai, Al-Futtaim Malls, said: “We are always looking for ways to delight our shoppers and offer them an unrivalled experience that they cannot find anywhere else in Dubai. We believe there is no better time to make this happen than the festive season. We wanted to offer shoppers a chance to make memories that last a lifetime with their loved ones. Our calendar of events with its activities and entertainment will surely knock our customers off their feet, especially our new show that has been choreographed by entertainment experts for this occasion. We have more exciting things to announce that will make Dubai Festival City Mall the ultimate holiday destination so stay tuned!”
Visitors that are up for jolly ride can get aboard the ‘Festive Express’ where the train will take them on a journey to explore all the festive spots at the mall including the massive steam train where they can take a selfie as it whistles and shoots smoke up its chimney.
The mall will also be home to the largest Festive Market in Dubai that will spread across a sprawling 6,000 sqm and have the festive markets that sell an array of delicious festive foods from Little Bite, Ginger Bread, Vanuato Kakaw – Chocolate, Dokkan Salla and unique products that can be gifted to loved ones such as Baby Shop, Art of Shaving, Zain Art and Booktopia.
The festivities wouldn’t be complete without the breath-taking IMAGINE attraction showcasing a special festive tale. Families will be enchanted with the all-new show titled “The Night Before…” that spreads the holiday spirit every night after sundown. To make up for living in the desert, Dubai Festival City Mall is bringing visitors a touch of winter with real snow falling over Festival Bay every 15 minutes.
In addition to all these activities, there will be huge Christmas decorations placed across the mall for guests to take selfies and Instagram shots for keepsake or send to loved ones living abroad a family portrait from all the way from Dubai.
If you want to start Christmas early this year, then head down to Dubai Festival City Mall on Thursday, 5th December to be the first to meet Santa and experience all these fun family friendly activities.
