After their successful show in 2018, The Rack by Kachins is set to once again, welcome Anamika Khanna’s 2019 Couture Collection at their store for an Exclusive 2 Days Preview Show. 

Anamika Khanna has won international recognition for her designs, fusing traditional Indian aesthetics with modern cuts and styling. She is known for creating magic by blending Indian colours with global contours. Adorned by the top celebrities who  have adorned her creations at Cannes Red Carpet while billionaire heiresses have thrown over her separates to make for a cool Instagram moment; Anamika Khanna fits the bill of engaging traditionalists and those who are attuned to the ever evolving trend cycle.

This season, we have seen Khanna challenging the conventions via couture, veering away from everything bridal and laying foundation for a narrative that explores fashion in a way devoid of bling. There is a reason why her pastel hued, floor-grazing capes. intricately embroidered jacquards or belted sarees speak to women of every age group. Her latest collection will be showcasing variety of silhouettes, draped saris, jackets and modern take on the traditional long shirt with trousers. A majestic blend of textile and colours, the collection features gorgeous traditional silhouettes with thick “gari” embroidery and her iconic fusion wear and prints, like never seen before.
