Dubai, UAE, May 02, 2019: Repair Plus, one of the leading total facilities management (FM) companies in the UAE, has reported a robust first quarter this year, posting more than 18 per cent growth compared to the same period in 2018. The company’s steadily increasing portfolio of key clients across industries bolstered the company’s performance during the first three months of 2019.
Daniel Saison, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Repair Plus, said: “This upward trajectory clearly reflects the presence of a strong demand in the country as more and more people are becoming aware of the benefits of quality FM solutions in terms of reduced costs and efficient overall operations. With an increasing client base, we will further expand our reach both in terms of geographies and sectors for us to gain traction in a number of new markets and verticals. We will build on this momentum throughout 2019.”
Saison also noted the rising need for smart and eco-friendly FM services as a result of regional and global trends focusing on the health and well-being of the people and sustainable development across all nations. This has resulted in the emergence of cost-efficient ‘green’ technologies designed to lower carbon emissions and address other sustainability issues.
“The green trend has swept the local FM industry and we at Repair Plus has responded accordingly by building an FM expertise revolving around healthy spaces and by carrying out a number of certified environment-friendly projects. We provide these green services in keeping with the ongoing efforts to make Dubai a green city and transform the domestic FM market into a sector that complies with the needs of the time. This is our organization doing its part to help reverse the effects of climate change and build a sustainable future for all,” Saison added.
In UAE households, eco-friendly home maintenance technologies lead to significant savings in their electricity bill annually. According to Repair Plus, installing cost-efficient LED bulbs, water-saver devices, and other green technologies plays a visible role in promoting energy and water conservation efforts in homes and protecting family health.
Toxic-free and recyclable LED bulbs, for instance, lead to energy savings of 80 to 90 per cent as these products use between two to eight watts only as opposed to traditional bulbs that utilize between 40 to 80 watts. Water-saver devices such as aerators, flow reducers, and shower heads with built-in flow reducers help decrease consumption significantly without changing the feel of the water pressure. Flow reducer lowers water flow by 25-40 per cent, while shower head with pre-installed flow reducers can lead to reduced water consumption by up to 40 per cent. The aircosaver technology is another green technology designed for air conditioners. Apart from ensuring up to 20 per cent savings in power, aircosaver also helps improve indoor air quality.
Repair Plus, an environment-conscious home maintenance company, believes it is its social responsibility to execute business based on an eco-friendly framework. Thus, it offers several eco-friendly FM services it dubbed as ‘Green Initiatives.’
“Further, as part of the company’s ‘green’ philosophy, Repair Plus has collaborated with ‘Trees for the Future,’ a non-profit organization, to plant trees as a gesture of thanks to every customer that has availed of the company’s services. We are now moving towards bringing our green initiatives to the entire GCC market. In light of this, we will look for ways to steadily reinforce our presence in the region by studying the possibility of opening more franchise,” Saison said.
