The MENA seafood leader has partnered with SEIDOR MENA to implement SAP’s S/4HANA and SuccessFactors Cloud HCM solutions as a first step in digital transformation
Dubai, UAE, 21 April 2019: In its continuous efforts to upgrade and modernise its ways of working, ASMAK, the leading provider of fresh and frozen seafood across MENA, has chosen the next generation business suite S/4HANA and Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) SuccessFactors by software giant SAP as it moves towards digital transformation. An early step in business process transformation, the new tools will bring greater productivity and functionality to ASMAK. The technologies will be adopted by multiple ASMAK divisions including sales, finance, operations, supply chain, and HR. S/4HANA and Cloud HCM SuccessFactors offer real-time analytics, a clearer view of operational costs, and improved supply and demand planning by providing visibility across all sales processes.
SAP S4/HANA is SAP’s next generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software functioning in advance in-memory database HANA. The software integrates intelligent services like machine learning and modern analytics with core finance processes to support teams with automation and predictive insights. By adopting these advanced capabilities, ASMAK stands to bring greater simplicity to its operations, including the areas of customer adoption, data modelling, user experience, decision making, business processes, and models. ASMAK will also integrate transformative tools such as Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile-first applications to help the enterprise thrive in a digital economy.
Seidor Middle East & North Africa has been selected as a strategic SAP implementation partner to deliver the solution and support ASMAK’s strategic goals. Armed with highly experienced consultants, more than 35 years of expertise in implementing SAP solutions, and being a reliable partner for its customers, SEIDOR MENA will help to reinforce ASMAK’s leading position in the regional seafood market. The investment supports ASMAK’s efforts to enhance its overall efficiency and sustainability through the latest examples of enterprise technology, ultimately positioning the company as a responsible name in the global seafood space.
"We are constantly looking for the competitive edge that offers our B2B and B2C customers added value”, says Mamoon Othman, ASMAK Chief Executive Officer. “Our collaboration with SAP and SEIDOR is another step forward in this area, as we’ve invested in intelligent enterprise tools that will help us optimize our processes, and be a more effective and sustainable organization. We’re now empowered to serve our customers across the region with quality, fresh, seafood products faster than before,” added Othman.
ASMAK’s latest investment and partnership to implement SAP S/4HANA builds upon the company’s 26 percent growth rate in 2018, and its target revenue of AED 1 billion by 2023.
“SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors are game-changing solutions for digital business strategy, as they can help to deliver real-time data driven insights, accelerate a business’s pace and simplify processes. S/4HANA is a lightning-fast technology that will support ASMAK to serve customers in real-time, while SuccessFactor will enable employee succession within the company, making ASMAK unique in its competitive space. We are pleased to be part of this business transformation and to help ASMAK achieve its strategic goals,” commented Ignacio Ruiz de Eguilaz, managing director of Seidor MENA
