Dubai, UAE; 26 March 2019: Epson Middle East has announced a collaboration with Enviroserve for E-Waste recycling, providing customers a safe and secure solution to dispose off their electronic items. Old printers will be recycled, or safely destroyed to help keep the environment safe.
Jeroen van Been, Director of Sales, Eposn MEA, says: “Enviroserve will collect unwanted equipment from our customers and use them for recycling or dispose them in an environmentally safe way. Sustainability is an important aspect of our business and we invest in developing environmentally conscious products. Last year we were awarded a Gold rating for overall sustainability by independent platform EcoVadis for the second year in succession. Being a sustainable company means being mindful of every aspect of our organisation. It fuels our innovation, drives our growth, motivates our workforce and is a key factor in how we work with our partners across the supply chain.”
“Epson’s leadership, vision and commitment to sustainability is inspirational. We are honoured to be their trusted partner and to support their environmental goals,” says Stuart Fleming, CEO of Enviroserve who recently launched The Recycling Hub in Dubai Industrial Park; a state-of-the-art electronic waste processing facility.
Enviroserve will also fulfill the collection service for Epson’s recently launched recycling promotion campaign in the UAE, whereby all customers purchasing an Epson printer or projector can trade in their old printer or projector for free and receive a certain amount of cashback. The aim of the program is to reduce the number of old products in the market and give customers an option for recycling their E-waste whilst also enjoying some cashback offers.
