Abu Dhabi, Thursday 7 February 2019: Stop by Marina Mall Abu Dhabi in the next two days for a free health check-up and to learn more about the conditions experienced by people of determination.
Running from 7 – 8 February in Marina Mall Abu Dhabi, the awareness campaign is run by Fatima College for Health Science.
It is part of the Health & Fitness Fun Festival, the most high-profile health-focused event in the UAE, run by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).
The Festival takes place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
ZHO (Zayed Higher Organization), along with a group of ambassadors of determination, will be providing one on one family consultation related to various disabilities.
Learn more about the capabilities that lays within every disability and find out more about: Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, Hearing and Vision Disabilities, Mobility and Impairment.
Visitors will receive free health check-ups and tips on how to stay healthy and fit.
The 2019 edition of the Festival is inspired by the “People of Determination” and shall serve UAE’s Vision 2021 and its National Priority towards “Cohesive Society and Preserved Identity” through Disability Inclusion in the community.
