European paper, office supplies and stationery majors to be present in strength at Paperworld Middle East

Exhibitors line up exciting range of innovative products and solutions to target fast-growing market
Dubai, UAE, January 14, 2019: Paperworld Middle East, being the premier trade and networking event for paper, office products and stationery in the Middle East, has traditionally enjoyed a strong presence from European exhibitors. Manufacturers and suppliers from the continent, realizing the potential of the event as a stage to reach across the wider region, will be out in strength at Paperworld Middle East 2019 too, with a wide range of products that cater specifically to the regional market preferences.
With Paperworld Middle East now evolving into a comprehensive umbrella event that takes in the associated industries of toys and games as well as fine leather products and corporate gifts, it has become an even more attractive platform for European exhibitors keen on widening their footprint in the region's buzzing markets.
When the three-day exhibition opens doors in Dubai in March this year, trade visitors will be able to engage and deal with a wide range of European manufacturers of paper, office products, workplace solutions and stationery, all in one place.
"While Paperworld Middle East has traditionally enjoyed a robust presence from European exhibitors keen to tap into the lucrative and growing regional paper and office supplies market, the upcoming edition will witness an even stronger push from continental exhibitors," said Paperworld Middle East Show Director, Alexandria Robinson.
"Apart from a dedicated German Pavilion, Paperworld Middle East will see representation from Austria, Finland, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK."
Portuguese distributor of visual communication products Bi-silque, manufactures and exports a broad assortment of products including bulletin & drywipe boards, interactive boards, planners boards, sign stands, easels, easel pads, and conference cabinets under the Bi‐Office and MasterVision brands to over 80 countries in 5 continents.
Andre Vasconcelos, CEO said: "We will take part in Paperworld Middle East 2019 to acquire new representatives of our brands and to meet new customers. Our focus will be education, corporate, personal and hospitality visual communication solutions. We will also present our new premium brand: Archyl."
Also from Portugal is stationery, paper, office and school suppliers distributor, Clipouro. They are participating at Paperworld Middle East to further develop their business in the region and to be able to expand to other countries in the region. The company is eyeing a 15% growth rate in the region.
Meanwhile Italian manufacturer of promotional and gift writing pens Stilolinea, is looking at generating new business deals in the region from their participation at Paperworld Middle East 2019. Mrs. Laura Chicco, Owner and Managing Director of Stilolinea said: "We are a 100% “Made in Italy” company that produces promotional and gift writing pens since 1972. Our presence covers all Europe and part of the USA, Indian, African, Central America and Middle East markets.
"The main reason for taking part in Paperworld Middle East 2019 is initiating new business relations and strengthening the existing ones. But we are also looking at being able to get a better overall impression of the market situation and the competition we face In this kind of market," she said.
With a range of punching and stapling products and solutions, Rapesco from the UK distribute their products to voer 100 countries worldwide. Hani Moussalli, International Account Manager at Rapesco Worldwide was optimistic at what the company was looking forward to achieve through their participation. In 2018, Paperworld Middle East welcomed 7,004 visitors from more than 90 countries who trooped in to witness the products and services of 303 exhibitors from 42 countries. The show’s co-location with Leatherworld Middle East, the region’s only B2B platform for leather goods and accessories, proved popular with regional trade buyers, as did the new Corporate Gifts section and the revamped Playworld Pavilion replete with children’s toys and games.
