Ring in the New Year With Four Firework Shows at Dubai Festival City Mall

Free schedule of entertainment events planned for shoppers including four fireworks shows
Dubai, UAE, 12 December 2018: Say goodbye to 2018 and hello to the New Year at Dubai Festival City Mall, as it hosts a packed schedule of free activities and entertainment on 31st December to celebrate the kick-off of 2019. Shoppers, families and friends can welcome the New Year with a spectacular evening of non-stop entertainment, including four firework shows throughout the evening, a live band featuring famous Australian singer, Katie Elle Jackson, as well as a special IMAGINE show.
Offering one of the best views in Dubai, combined with waterfront dining, Dubai Festival City Mall is one of the city’s only destinations offering free entertainment throughout the night, and is the perfect location to celebrate. The evening of non-stop activities kick-off with a one-of-a-kind special IMAGINE show on Festival Bay at 7 pm, followed by the live band at 8 pm. Stunning fireworks displays will feature at 9 pm, 10 pm and 11 pm, with the grand finale fireworks show at midnight.
To get some of the best seats in the house with unrivalled views of the celebrations, shoppers are encouraged to reserve a table ahead of time at one of the restaurants on the waterfront. Restaurants include newly-opened Black Tap, Eataly, Cheesecake Factory, Nando’s, Turkish Village, Joe’s Crab Shack, Sugar Factory, Al Fanar, Peppermill, Texas Roadhouse, Motomachi, California Pizza Kitchen, Bucca di Beppo and Lebanese concept, Semsom.
Whether by car, metro or boat, Dubai Festival City Mall is easily accessible this New Year’s Eve. Shoppers can also visit Dubai Festival City Mall using the RTA Abra and Dubai Ferry from Al Jaddaf Marine Station. Dubai Ferry cruises will start from 9:30 pm on New Year’s Eve and continue up to 1:30 am. The Water Bus and abra trips will start from 10:30 pm and end at 1:30 am.
