Chinese Manufacturing Companies to Highlight Trade Opportunities in Middle East

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 4, 2018:   Together with the largest China sourcing platform, the Dubai edition of China Homelife exhibition - December 11 – 13 at Dubai Exhibition and Convention Centre, is conducting a conference on the opportunities to buy and build factories locally and highlight the effectiveness of franchising. Scheduled on day two of the exhibition, the  China Franchise and Factory Solutions Forum will have key representatives from China who will be speaking and presenting case studies on both topics.   

Karl Liu, Chairman and CEO of Guangdong BFC Technology which is part of a region wide collaboration and moving the path to China's manufacturing 2025 strategy will demonstrate their holistic equipment solutions, and, export and financial support services. They will focus on their 360 degree approach to machinery and production line solutions, technology integration systems as well as supplier resources which tackle the specific requirements of customers across the world in a wide range of manufacturing sectors.     

Also present at the conference will be Leon Zhu, General Manager Overseas Business of DE&E Appliances, specializing in high-end kitchen appliances and Feng Jili, Founder and Chairman Morakot Electric Manufacturing Co., known for their electric bikes. The Middle East is high on their geographical growth strategy and they are focusing their efforts into entering the region through possible joint ventures to manufacture locally. 

In July 2018 on invitation from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Xi visited the UAE and a strategic partnership was established that covers several areas including political, economic, technology, education, renewable energy and water, as well as cultural ties. According to the Ministry of Economy report, trade exchange between UAE and China in 2017 grew 15.1 percent over 2016. Non-oil foreign trade exchange between the UAE and China rose to Dh195.8 billion in 2017 compared to Dh169bn in 2016.
