Union Coop Sets up Al Tayy Branch in Record 48 Hours

For the first time in the retail history of the Middle East, a temporary branch has been established within 48 hours in ‘Al Tayy’ to meet the needs for customers & families of the winter camping area

Dubai, UAE, November 28, 2018:  Retail Pioneer ‘Union Coop’ creates history by opening its ‘Winter Camp’ in Al Tayy area within 48 hours, to  delight campers and consumers in the area. 

Inaugurating the new branch, Mr. Harib Mohammed Bin Thani, Director of Operations division said: “This temporary winter camp is a unique and sophisticated approach in retail through which we seek to reach and serve all segments of the society in a distinctive way. Union Coop continuously studies the market requirements to come up with innovative ideas to serve the consumer segments and continue to lead the consumer cooperative segment in the UAE.”

“The branch includes more than 10, 000 items from different categories of basic, food and non-food products, camping supplies, vegetables, fruits and many more.”

The temporary branch was inaugurated by Mr. Harib Mohammed Bin Thani, Director of Operations Division, in presence of Managers and staffs from several division and branches. This branch will operate from 12 noon until 12 midnight on weekdays, and till 2 AM on weekends until April 10th 2019.
