Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate welcomes International Institute of Tolerance to Festival Tower

Dubai, UAE, October 29, 2018: Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate’s flagship office building, Festival Tower, at Dubai Festival City, is now home to the International Institute for Tolerance (IIT), making the tower a powerhouse of diverse and prestigious government offices.
IIT was founded in 2017 upon the decision by his Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The government authority aims to instil a spirit of tolerance in society, building a cohesive society and promoting the UAE as a role model for tolerance, anti-extremism, and anti all forms of discrimination among people.
In addition to IIT, Festival Tower is also home to other government offices including the Federal Competitiveness and State Authority, and Federal Customs Authority. Among the other prestigious tenants within the tower are NORR, CBI, Emirates Investment Bank PJSC, Inmarsat Communications, Amadeus and Lloyd’s.
IIT presented appreciation awards to the Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate team for their exceptional efforts to help the government agency integrate into their new office location. The awards were presented by IIT’s Managing Director, H.E. Dr Hamad Al Shaikh Ahmad Al Shaibani and Brigadier-General Ahmed Khalfan Al Mansouri, secretary-general of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Tolerance Award.
