Dubai, UAE, September 26, 2018: Mumbai based renowned Indian celebrity fashion designer Payal Singhal will be in town on Sept 29th to showcase her latest collection Mu’asir in Dubai exclusively at ‘The Rack by Kachins’ boutique.
The designer recently displayed her latest collection of womenswear at Lakmé Fashion inspired by folk art tapestry, one of the oldest hand-crafting techniques in the world. The concept lies between four main works of art – the Turkish Kilim, the Persian Tabriz, the Medieval Mille-Fleur and the Swedish Flamskväv. Their characteristics include flat-weaving, loose fringes, pastel or bright colors and bold patterns. Each of them is unique in its own way and yet, very similar.
The stylish collection comes together in an extensive colors of neutral tones like grey, ivory along with pastels like rose blush, mint, sage, cantaloupe, powder blue; bright shades of yellows, corals and pinks; deeper shades like emerald green, navy blue and deep purple. Featuring a beautiful blend of thread work with zardozi, applique and beadwork with fray embroidery and accents of various kinds of tassels and edging.
The silhouettes stay true to the Payal Singhal Signature new-age Indian mantra with tiered shararas, sari dhotis and layered jackets. Fabrics create flow and structure with silks, georgettes and organzas setting the scene for rich tapestry to unfold.
Singhal designs strike a perfect balance between the modern and traditional wear, complimented with beautiful colours fluid fabrics and intricate embroidery. Her designs range from regal bridal couture and modern festive pieces to relaxed effortless silhouettes. Her unique modern, contemporary aesthetics and a style statement has made her outfits a huge celebrity favourite with the likes of Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Neha Dhupia amongst others, regularly spotted in her creations.
