Purebred Arabian Horse Showcases, Equestrian Displays and Heritage Activities Among Key Highlights of Day Seven at ADIHEX 2026

Programme features security scenario demonstrations, cyber security workshops, competitions and interactive heritage experiences

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 3 September 2026 – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club, the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026), held under the theme "A Legacy of Pride", continued to draw visitors on its seventh day at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi with a diverse programme of heritage, cultural, educational and live activities.

The exhibition's seventh day featured a range of equestrian and falconry displays that reflected the strong presence of Emirati heritage throughout the programme. Activities included purebred Arabian horse showcases, Arabian Saluki demonstrations, falconry hunting simulations and horse-riding performances, alongside tent pegging displays, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience various aspects of traditional heritage sports and practices.

The 23rd edition of ADIHEX, the largest in its history, is organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers' Club. This year's edition continues to showcase the latest developments and innovations in veterinary medicine and specialised healthcare for birds, particularly falcons, as well as purebred Arabian horses and other sectors represented by 2,405 exhibiting companies and brands from 71 countries, further reinforcing the exhibition's position as one of the world's leading specialised events for hunting, falconry and equestrian sports.

The programme also featured police dog demonstrations and displays involving rescued dogs in the UAE, alongside pony riding activities for People of Determination and visitors, reflecting the exhibition's interactive and family-oriented character.

The Abu Dhabi Police pavilion attracted significant visitor interest through a variety of demonstrations and activities, including a security scenario simulation, performances by the police band and police dog displays.

As part of the exhibition's knowledge and awareness programme, Abu Dhabi Police conducted a cybersecurity workshop that highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of cybercrime and the importance of keeping pace with emerging digital threats. The session focused on common online fraud techniques, including fake websites and fraudulent online offers that imitate legitimate platforms to obtain personal and financial information. Participants were advised to remain vigilant, verify the authenticity of websites and electronic transactions, and avoid sharing one-time passwords (OTPs) or sensitive data.

The day's cultural and entertainment programme included African drumming, dance and acrobatic performances, alongside a Japanese Taiko drumming show. Visitors also attended a specialised equine workshop and an interactive question-and-answer session, creating a programme that blended local heritage with a diverse range of international cultural experiences.

ADIHEX 2026 continues to reinforce its position as a platform that brings together heritage, culture, knowledge, innovation and family entertainment under one roof. Through a programme featuring more than 40 activities throughout the exhibition, visitors can enjoy a wide range of experiences tailored to different ages and interests.

The 23rd edition of ADIHEX, the largest in its history, continues until 6 September 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, offering visitors access to 15 specialised sectors featuring products, exhibits and innovations related to hunting, falconry and equestrian sports, alongside live performances, educational activities and interactive experiences that celebrate Emirati heritage and strengthen its connection with future generations.
