The International Institute for Tolerance (IIT), the UAE government Think Tank that was established to provide solutions to the challenges of extremism and sectarianism and to promote the culture of tolerance, today unveiled its official logo.
The new logo, which reflects the Institute’s goals and values, will be used in all IIT’s future communications, collaterals, initiatives and events.
Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, IIT’s Managing Director, said: “The launch of our official logo is a step forward towards the enablement of the Institute’s mission and vision to achieve a brighter future.”
Dr. Al Shaibani added that the Institute’s logo, which will adorn IIT’s programs and initiatives, reflects the Center’s identity, which demonstrates that the sharing knowledge amongst people is the way to build bridges that would lead to tolerance and acceptance of others. He also emphasized that the lack of knowledge sharing only leads to isolation and division.
“In spite of its simple design, the logo embodies both cohabitation and harmony, and is indicative of the Institute’s level of maturity,” Dr. Al Shaibani added.
Dr. Al Shaibani expressed his gratitude to his team’s efforts to produce the Institute’s corporate identity, adding that the logo was developed on several stages to ensure that it encapsulates IIT’s message, while following international best practice.
“The Institute’s corporate identity does not only exemplify IIT’s pioneering role in spreading the values of tolerance and forgiveness, but it also reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who keenly follows the Institute’s and Awards’ development, and is being done to convey the UAE’s message of love and tolerance to the world.”
