Skyline Conducted Pocket MBA on E-Governance, AI and Robotics, and Enterprising Sustainable Smart Cities

Dubai, UAE, April 29, 2018: Skyline University College organized the second edition of One Day Refresher Course in Management with Emphasis on E-Governance, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, and Enterprising Sustainable Smart Cities (Pocket MBA) on April 18, 2018 at SUC Campus. Delegates such as tourism directors, managers, software engineers, IT directors, and SUC Alumni from various corporate and government offices in the UAE have participated in the program.
The Pocket MBA covered an introduction to E-Governance, a discussion on disruptions which are disrupting the supply line of existing business model, and an insightful overview about difference between Sustainable Innovations and Disruptive Innovations. It also included the topics of emerging technologies like Block Chain, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. Finally, the program provided an understanding on the application of various technologies in building and developing Enterprising Sustainable Smart Cities. The case studies of Kodak and Chicago Smart City were used in the discussion during the program.
The workshop was divided into four sessions such as, E-Governance vs. E-Government by SUC Head of Academics-School of IT, Dr. Deepak Kalra; Sustainable Innovation vs. Disruptive Innovation by Assistant Professors, Dr. Kakul Agha and Dr. Ramakrishna Yanamandra; Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Internet of Things by Dr. Deepak Kalra and Dr. Sakthivel A.M. and; Sustainable Smart Cities by Head of Academics-School of Business, Dr. Ajith Kumar and Associate Professor, Dr. Anil Roy Dubey.
