Sealine Beach celebrates Qatar National Day with a special weekend-long family entertainment program

Marking the occasion with a host of kid activities, culinary feasts, and special offers
Doha, Qatar – 22nd December 2017: Qatar’s first leisure destination Sealine Beach, a Murwab Resort, recently celebrated the Qatar National Day (QND) with a weekend-long program that blended the country’s rich culture and heritage with a variety of entertainment segments designed for the whole family to enjoy.
This year, Sealine Beach’s QND celebrations, which ran from the 15th to the 18th of December 2017, included special events, kids’ competitions and games, decoration and commemorative ceremonies, and special room packages and promotions for an all-round family entertainment experience.
Extending his congratulations and best wishes to the Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Father Emir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and the Qatari people, Mr. Nawaf Ali Al Obaidly, General Manager at Sealine Beach Resort, said: “Celebrating Qatar’s National Day is a special occasion cherished by every Qatari, and one in which we renew our vows and reaffirm our loyalty to the country and to our wise leadership represented by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as relive the glory of the country’s Founder Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani, May God bless his soul, who devoted his time, thought and effort for a modern, unified Qatar.”

As part of the celebration, Sealine Beach’s Grass Turf area was home to a host of fun activities for the young members of the family, including Clown Balloon Twister, Giant Twister game, Bouncy Castle, Carousel, Photo Booth, Caterpillar Ride, as well as a ‘Ring Toss’ and ‘Knock the Cans’ game booths with prizes. To bring a ‘National Day’ flavor to the entertainment program, the Grass Turf also hosted a ‘Freedom Wall’, Arabic Mascot, and a Special station for making QND-themed cupcakes for kids.
Meanwhile, the Resort’s Al Odaid Restaurant marked the occasion with a special Cake-cutting Ceremony for guests, in addition to its all-day International and Arabic Food Buffets. The program’s ‘culinary feast’ was made complete with a full lineup of ethnic Food Stations at the Grass Turf area, including a Qatari Food Station that sold traditional dishes such as Balaleet, Machboos and Kabsa, a Shawarma Station and an Arabic Sweets Station offering Mehalabiyya, Kunafa and Basbousa.
Throughout the three days of celebrations, guests also enjoyed a special ‘QND’ promotion on standard rooms as well as families’ favorite ‘Al Bahr Chalet’.
