Ericsson named best cloud provider

Dubai, UAE, December 7, 2017: Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) Middle East and Africa was recognized as the Best Cloud Provider during the prestigious Telecom Review Excellence Awards. The award was received by Ericsson during the awards ceremony, which was held on December 6th in Dubai.
Ericsson powers digital industrialization through a unique combination of advanced technology, global scale and a proven ability to drive transformation.The Ericsson Cloud harnesses software-defined infrastructure, transformation services, platforms and applications that bridge both public and private cloud.

Ericsson NFVi (Network Function Virtualization) solution is a cloud infrastructure and management solution verified by Ericsson to meet target VNF (Virtual Network Function) characteristic requirements for different types of applications. It is also used as the common stack for requirement handling, alignment and verification of VNFs. The Business Solution consists of various configuration alternatives including Ericsson and 3rd party products to meet different operator requirements on infrastructure.
The Telecom Review Awards chooses winners based on recognized and demonstrated capabilities in their specific sector by an independent panel of 15 experienced industry veterans, including representatives from the carrier arena, telecom/ICT vendor arena and the ICT investment banking arena.
