Dubai, UAE, October 24, 2017: OMEGA will begin its role as the Official Timekeeper of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open for the second year in a row, reinforcing its strong commitment to supporting golf in the region. The tournament will take place from 1-4 November 2017 at the ocean-front Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
The tournament is being held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak; President of the General Women’s Union, Chief Executive Officer of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Higher Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
Historically, the tournament brings together some of the world’s best female golfers and this year will be no different, with a strong line up of participants looking to compete at one of the most advanced sporting venues in the UAE.
The tournament is the second event of this scale and magnitude to be held in the Middle East, after the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, where OMEGA is also the title sponsor and the Official Timekeeper.
OMEGA is looking forward to being on-site and keeping time at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open, as it is committed to the growth of golf around the world. Alongside various title sponsorships and a prestigious partnership with the PGA, OMEGA’s long-term partnership with the Ladies European Tour (LET) underscores its passion for ladies’ golf in the region and around the world.
The four-day long Ladies Open promises to be another exciting tournament, that will showcase OMEGA’s ongoing commitment and passion to golf and sports in the region.
