Dubai, UAE - April 27th 2017 – With his Royal Oak Chronograph 26320ST.OO.1220ST.01 on the wrist, Bernd Wiesberger lifted the trophy at the Shenzhen International on Sunday April 23rd, 2017. Bernd’s fourth European Tour win confirms the ultimate reward for his very impressive and consistent form over the last 12 months. He had to resist an incredible charge back from Tommy Fleetwood who came from 8 behind and forced a play off under heavy rain. The Austrian managed to bring the victory home with a birdie on the first hole of a sudden-death play off after the two had tied at 16 under after 72 holes on the Genzon Golf Club course. 

“I'm feeling a bit relieved” said Wiesberger. “I’ve had a stretch of really good events the last couple of months, and it’s nice to lift a trophy again. We have really good players out here, all up for it, playing well and throwing a lot at me. At the end of the day I’m just glad I got myself into the spot where I could play for the title.”

This victory is the natural outcome of an impressive series of high-finishes achieved by the Audemars Piguet golf ambassadors since January 2015.
