Oysho presents the preview for its new SS17 collection: Midnight romance
Last Update: Wednesday, March 22, 2017 : 11:55 (+4GMT)
Femininity, elegance and sensuality with a certain ’90s feel, are the inspiration behind the look for Oysho women this SS17.
The collection features new long-line designs, turning bras into tops and other garments that break away from their definition as underwear to take over the streets and become a trend that will stay with us throughout summer. Minimalist-style sleepwear is also a feature along with kimonos, cropped tops with tulle embroidery and lingerie-style jumpsuits.
Underwear sets and bodysuits join this new alternative range which can be worn with casual streetwear. Their finishes, details and shapes perfectly define the feminine figure as well as providing comfort and elegance.
Lingerie is given a fresh look thanks to details such as asymmetric necklines, halter necks and even sporty features, creating a balance between basic designs and other more modern ones.
Brush-strokes are used over a base of dusty and neutral tones, with key emphasis on colours such as rose quartz, blue, raspberry, and classic black in either a total black version or displaying a floral, oriental-inspired print.
For the new season, Oysho will be paying special attention to details, focusing on garments which display a vast range of embroidered fabrics on tulle and lace, velvet, sateen or translucent crepe, creating sophisticated optic effects.
