Dubai-UAE: 1 February, 2017: KEF-TAHPI Design Studio, has confirmed growing interest in its revolutionary ‘catalogue hospitals’ concept from emerging markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East regions. A joint venture of KEF Holdings, the UAE-based multinational diversified group that specializes in innovative offsite manufacturing technology, and Australia-based TAHPI, KEF-TAHPI Design Studio is showcasing KEF’s flagship MEITRA Hospital, in Calicut, Kerala, India at the 2017 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the Middle East’s largest healthcare exhibition and conference.
Visitors to the KEF-TAHPI stand located at OS-E10, Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, will be ‘transported’ to the actual project site, allowing them to see the aesthetic and functional elements at the MEITRA Hospital, including the lobby, waiting rooms, treatment rooms, administrative areas, lounges, as well as the ultra-luxurious patient rooms that have been designed to offer a hospital-meets-hospitality theme. The 200-bed facility (scalable to 500 beds) is up to 80 percent offsite-manufactured at the KEF Infra One Industrial Park – making it a first-of-a-kind healthcare development in India, scheduled for completion by April 2017.
Speaking on its participation at Arab Health, Faizal E Kottikollon, Founder and Chairman of KEF Holdings, said: “Arab Health is the most premium trade event for the healthcare industry in the Middle East, and attracts stakeholders from our target markets in Africa and Asia as well. We have greatly benefitted through business leads generated at this event, and are confident of another successful edition marked by new opportunities to network with leaders in the global healthcare industry.”
