CML, the French market leader in clinical biology, is to make its debut appearance at MEDLAB

Unites Arab Emirates- January 25th, 2017:  CML is a major player in the laboratory world and the leading distributor of disposables, equipment, furniture and services to medical laboratories in France. CML is a private corporation founded in 1971. CML belongs to asset holding company CML-ID. The group is keen to strengthen the chain of complementarity between its customers, subcontractors and employees. 

The group has a production unit, CEB, on a 5,340sqm site in Angers (west of Paris), which has an expertise in the design and manufacture of:

• Medical Devices (MD) and Devices for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) using thermoplastic injection molding
• Blown polyethylene bottles 
• Glass Pasteur pipettes 
• Original equipment (OEM)

CML-ID acquired laboratory equipment distributor ELVETEC, which has been working with laboratories for more than 65 years. The group doubled its size and CML-ID's offering was enriched with new instrumentation ranges, blood sampling ranges and a Maintenance and Metrology department. This has allowed CML-ID to present laboratories with a highly comprehensive offering.

CML acquired also its partner supplier BIOLEADER®, which manufactures and distributes furniture and fittings for laboratories. In turn, ELVETEC acquired FLD, a distributor of equipment for clinical laboratories.

Thanks to its 30,000sqm logistics hub and a widely recognized logistics expertise, CML-ID is able to provide its customers with logistical services on an outsourcing basis. It can also fulfill the equipment and consumables requirements of Middle-Eastern distributors, not to mention acting as their logistics center in Europe. This enables them to boost their productivity and refocus on their core business. CML-ID has the capacity to manage international transport flows from start to finish with great flexibility and according to the wishes of its customers. CML has been involved in the export business for more than 30 years.
