Strategic partnership between Dubai Quality Group and Ajman Free Zone

Dubai, UAE, December 27, 2016: Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) signed an investor partnership agreement with Dubai Quality Group (DQG) to activate fruitful cooperation between both parties to foster quality, business excellence, and innovation in the workplace.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both the organizations. The delegation from DQG was headed by Eng. Ahmed Al Mulla, Vice Chairman of DQG, who presented the Certificate of Membership to HE Mahmood Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of AFZ, in appreciation for its investment in DQG’s strategies and initiatives. The signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Unnikrishnan Sukumaran and Ms. Fatma Abdul Qader, from DQG, and Mr. Abdullah Wahidi and Ms. Maitha Saif Almuseiba, from AFZ.
As a part of their mutual association, this strategic partnership was signed under the framework of both parties’ efforts to develop quality and business excellence, in terms of enhancing the quality of AFZ services, and implementing the latest initiatives and strategic plans that aim at improving performance levels. AFZ’s ‘Ajman Creek Development project (Smart Stores)’ was recently awarded as the winner in the ‘Promoting Business’ category at the 5th UAE Ideas Conference and Award organized by DQG in November this year.
The investor partnership between both the organizations aims at enabling the transfer and exchange of expert knowledge, experience, best practices and ideas, and the expansion of optimal and productive cooperation.

She added “Dubai Quality Group is deeply committed at promoting quality and business excellence in this key sector and ultimately establishing a strong foundation that would underpin the long-term growth of services industries”.
HE Mahmood Khalil Al Hashemi, AFZ Director General said “The new partnership will provide to Ajman Free Zone with the latest benchmarks and knowledge in business excellence, in order to strengthen our position as an organization dealing with quality in the field of investment services and competitive facilities to lead the industrial growth of Ajman; and to increase the number of companies that benefit from investment services that are provided by Ajman Free Zone, in order to revive the capital market and business in UAE.”

These partnerships will enhance cooperation among government and private entities by provide a platform for knowledge and information exchange, which will in return have a positive impact on the business environment.
