Gulf and Indian Ocean Hotel Investors' Summit Announces Speakers for Second Annual Conference in Abu Dhabi

18th December 2016, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Gulf and Indian Ocean Hotel Investors’ Summit (GIOHIS) will bring together 70 speakers, including 36 hospitality industry CEOs, from around the region, when it returns to Abu Dhabi in February.
GIOHIS, which is the only hotel investment event run by and for hotel owners, was launched in 2016 by the global hotels owners’ alliance HOFTEL. Its inaugural summit in February last year, strongly supported by Founding Patron Aldar Properties, attracted hundreds of business executives to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the burgeoning hotel industry, with 40% of participants from hotel-owning groups, developers and investors.
GIOHIS will return to the Yas Viceroy in Abu Dhabi on 6 - 7 February 2017 with a strong speaker line-up, including 35 CEOs, heads of hotels and other industry executives including: Mohammed Al Mubarak, CEO of Aldar; Mike Goodson, Head of Hotels at ADIA; Joe Sita, CEO of IFA Hotels; Gaurav Bhushan, Chief Development Officer of AccorHotels; Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of Time Hotels; Bob Warman, CEO of Langham Hotels; Olivier Chavy, CEO of Mövenpick Hotels; Nehme Darwiche, CEO of Jannah Hotels and Yannis Anagnostakis, CEO of RAK National Hotels.
The event will offer a global range of perspectives with speakers attending from across the region including representatives from Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Mauritius, the Maldives, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
GIOHIS takes place at the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi on 6th and 7th February 2017.
