November 23, 2016 – In a survey conducted by Orient Planet Research among companies in the MENA region, 15 per cent noted that they do not have sufficient skilled staff to reach the company’s long-term strategic growth. To demonstrate the role of e-learning in shaping the future generations and fill the market gap, Orient Planet Academy will be showcasing its online courses at the upcoming Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) Autumn, running from November 24 to 26, 2016 at the Meydan Gallery and Convention Centre, Dubai. This latest edition is being organized by the International Conferences & Exhibitions LLC (IC&E) and will be co-located with the region’s first International Student Festival, which aims to reach out to the diverse and multi-cultural youth of the UAE.
Orient Planet Academy was launched in 2014 as a joint venture between Orient Planet PR and Marketing Communications and The Irish Academy of Public Relations. The Academy will be showcasing its five online English courses in Public Relations (PR), Marketing, Journalism, Event Management and English Grammar as well as its recently launched Arabic courses in Online Marketing and PR and Diploma in Event Management.
Nidal Abou Zaki, Managing Director, Orient Planet Group, said: “The economic challenges throughout the Middle East has raised the need for competent professionals in the region that have the necessary skills to address the needs of the market. As e-learning platforms are steadily growing, especially in the UAE, we developed Orient Planet Academy as a tool as an efficient and cost-effective solution for this market gap. OPA offers a wide range of courses in Arabic that will help expand the knowledge and expertise of the people in the region. Our participation in GETEX Autumn reflects our commitment to help cultivate the talents of the region. As this will be held in conjunction with ISF, we are looking forward to meeting more students and showcasing the immense benefits associated with acquiring an internationally recognized certificate from the Academy.”
