Etihad Airways partners with Yas Mall to support aspiring designers and fashion talent in the region

• A trip to a fashion destination for the winner of ‘Design your way to the Runway’ competition at YMFW16 
• A promotional stand at Yas Mall from October 6th – October 15th with a raffle draw for all visitors

Abu Dhabi, 20 September 2016:  Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, today announced a “First Class” agreement with Yas Mall to become one of the key partners of Yas Mall’s Fashion Week YMFW16 this October.

Etihad Airways will offer the winner of the ‘Design your way to the Runway” competition a trip to a leading fashion destination which will be revealed closer to the time. 

Saoud Khoory, General Manager of Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi, said: “At Yas Mall Abu Dhabi, we are always looking to offer our visitors a first class experience like no other, and our partnership with Etihad Airways is a key testament to this ambition. We are very excited that Etihad will be taking part in our biggest fashion event this year, and with their partnership, we will be able to position Yas Mall Fashion Week as a global and international fashion event.

Additionally, Etihad Airways will be running a promotional stand at Yas Mall from October 6th – October 15th with a raffle draw of more prizes to fashion destinations for all visitors to be announced on October 15th. 

The competition started in August as participants are asked to submit a selection of sketches for a preliminary judging panel via the Design your Way to the Runway Website http://www.yasmallfashionweek.com/. The deadline for submissions is 22nd September 2016.

The judges will announce the winner on 12th of October 2016 during Yas Mall’s Fashion Week Opening Ceremony.
