Yas Mall Partners with Tryano Introducing Exciting Rewards For “Design your way to the Runway” Competition

Yas Mall Fashion Week to be held from 12-15 October

Yas Mall, the leading shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in Abu Dhabi, announced today an exciting partnership with Tryano, the luxury department store owned by Chalhoub Group, to introduce exciting rewards for the winner of “Design your way to the Runway” Competition of Yas Mall Fashion Week.

The mall has launched this incredible competition for aspiring fashion designers as part of Yas Mall’s Fashion Week, taking place from 12-15 October, to nurture and support young talents by showcasing their collection on an international stage and introducing their work to a new global audience during the Fashion Week.

The new partnership with Tryano also gives the winner of the competition the opportunity to display their collection at this unique concept stores.

TRYANO offers a remarkable mix of categories from prominent international and regional brands ranging from beauty and fragrances to bags and shoes with a special section for kids and new-borns. The premium department store provides a memorable guest experience and an in-store services that include valet parking, a handbag spa, an embroidery lounge, and a full service concierge.

Participants of the competition are asked to submit a selection of 10 renderings for a clothing line with a purely arabesque theme. The entries will be judged by a panel of top fashion experts, industry leaders. The Judges will announce the winner on the 12th of October 2016 during Yas Mall’s Fashion Week.

Yas Mall Fashion Week will feature multiple catwalk shows showcasing the latest collections for autumn/winter 2016/2017, in addition to live demonstrations from expert stylists, hair and beauty studios; as well as special promotions across a variety of leading international brands within the mall. Among the brands participating are TRYANO, House of Fraser, Debenhams, BCBG, Ted Baker, Esposa, Maje, DKNY, Hoss Intropia, Laurel, Weill, and Makeup Forever. 

This four-day fashion extravaganza will be opened with a spectacular concert from Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama, followed by an exclusive Gala dinner at Yas Viceroy, in the presence of fashion icons, top VIPs, media figures and fashionistas.
