Dubai Outlet Mall hosts “Summer without Accidents” campaign in association with Dubai Police

Campaign aimed to raise awareness on the importance of regular checkups and safety for vehicles during the summer
Dubai, UAE, August 9, 2016: Dubai Outlet Mall hosted an awareness campaign ‘Summer without Accidents’ in coordination with Dubai Police, Emirates Transport, Al ameen, Autopro and Thumbay Hospital and Civil defense.
Initiated by Dubai Police the campaign ran till 6th August 2016 and was aimed at promoting road safety during summer months, focusing on regular tire examinations, brake pads, radiator checkups, car maintenance and overall car service to ensure safe driving.
Mall visitors observed Dubai Police luxury cars on display at the mall’s Centre Court, road radars devices, as well as high resolution video monitoring by Dubai Police Cameras. Dubai Police also distributed brochures on the importance of safety on the roads, and precautions that need to be taken in order to avoid accidents.
Emirates Transport & Civil defense conducted traffic safety awareness sessions, and promoted road safety. AutoPro, a full service car repair provider, performed basic tire pressure checkups outside the mall. In addition, Thumbay Hospital Authority conducted free blood sugar and smoking check-ups.
To pave the way towards road safety best practice, Dubai Police aims to educate the public on the risks associated with car safety and the importance of car maintenance and overall car service to ensure safe driving condition on the roads for all.
