IFS to modernize enterprise application environment at Seychelles Petroleum
Last Update: Sunday, August 7, 2016 : 11:31 (+4GMT)
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Seychelles Petroleum has chosen the IFS Applications™ 9 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite as its business management platform of choice. The oil company will be replacing its legacy systems with IFS Financials, Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, CRM, HR & Payroll, and BI modules.
Once implementation is complete, IFS Applications will give Seychelles Petroleum (SEYPEC), an integrated solution that automates its business processes - from start to finish. The company will benefit from better visibility into its business operations, automation of manual processes (such as reporting and sales volume calculations), and the ability to mobilize key business processes.
Paul Mondon, Chief Financial Officer at Seychelles Petroleum, said “To perform at optimal levels, we need a world-class enterprise applications suite that can help us streamline our operations and integrate our processes. Following an in depth analysis and evaluation of solutions being offered by 7 top ranked single ERP vendors and in consultation with IT experts from BDO IT Consulting (Mauritius), IFS was selected. It has the industry specific solutions and expertise for our industry that can help us attain our ambitions.”
IFS Africa Managing Director, Gawie van Der Merwe, adds: “IFS Applications is the enterprise suite of choice for the oil and gas industry because we are committed to helping the industry realize all of the advantages of the latest technologies such as enterprise mobility. We look forward to working with Seychelles Petroleum to help it put in place a solution that will help it drive innovation, enhance efficiency and improve agility.”
