Dubai, UAE, June 30, 2016: Modhesh World, one of the region's most popular edutainment destinations, returns in grand style this summer, offering families the opportunity to experience 62 amazing fun-filled days across eight halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Open till the 27th of August, the 17th edition of Modhesh World is set to be the biggest since it was launched in 2001, with the multitude of attractions and activities this year spread over an area of 34,000 sq. m.
Modhesh World, running under the theme ‘Every Step Is A New Adventure' is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).

Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said: “As a leading family edutainment facility that helps position Dubai as a year-round family tourism destination, Modhesh World provides a fantastic way for kids to stay engaged and happy during the summer holidays through an array of attractions that are also firm family favorites.
“Over the years, Modhesh World has struck a chord with families – our key audience – to emerge as one of the most awaited annual fun attractions in Dubai. The increasing interest shown by families, especially those in the UAE and region, has made us redouble our efforts to offer visitors a truly memorable Modhesh World 2016. We expect to achieve this largely by elevating the entertainment experience with a superb range of new attractions, some of which are unique to the UAE that are bound to spread cheer and happiness among children the moment they step into Modhesh World”.
New and existing popular attractions are set to provide families and children the chance to enjoy an unforgettable summer holiday in Dubai. Brand new additions for 2016 include the Action Planet, which will include two 50m Zip lines, climbing walls and free falls, and an all new Dino Park, where kids can come face to face with pre-historic dinosaurs and experience a thrill ride with them. Back by popular demand, is the Ice Rink, which will be bigger this year, covering an area of 400 sq. m.
The completely air conditioned indoor theme park hosts multiple stage shows including the much loved Modhesh Character shows, Magical Garden, and Modhesh Universal Adventures, amongst others. A special new feature at Modhesh World is an area dedicated to toddlers and younger children with activities such as sensory classes, “Baby Talk” designed to help toddlers learn through play, music, and multi-sensory activities, along with “Toddler Town” an all-day crèche.
A diverse selection of food and beverage options with several seating areas, including signature food trucks and trolleys are available at various locations in the sprawling edutainment facility.
With organisers committed to creating a value-for-money experience for visitors, starting prices for tickets to Modhesh World are as low as AED 20. Entry is free for kids under age 3. However entry is free to all visitors to Modhesh World during Ramadan, as a special gesture from the organisers on the occasion of the holy month. Tickets are available at the venue with doors opening from 10am to 12pm on weekdays and 10am to 1am on weekends (Thursday and Friday).
