Ajman University Graduates 386 as the Class of Year of Reading in Ajman

Ajman- His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman praised the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan "May Allah protect him" and his brothers, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and Their Highnesses rulers of the Emirates in promoting the continuous process of education. Spreading education and its awareness has made great strides in the country in reaching every citizen and resident, and that the UAE has become one of the developed countries in providing high-level education in public and private universities.
He also asserted that the achievements witnessed by the state universities in the field of higher education is steadily moving to this we have decided to launch at the University of Ajman named the "Year of Reading" a boost this constellation of our graduates with pride the achievements of the UAE of advancement and progress in various fields.
This came in a statement following the 25th graduation ceremony of Ajman University of Science and Technology held under the slogan of "Year of Reading". 386 graduates from various colleges, hailing from 24 countries graduated in an astounding ceremony held at Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions. 214 male students and 172 female students will go forth into the practical world carrying bachelors and master’s degrees.
The commencement ceremony was graced by the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman Ajman Executive Council, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Head, United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development, Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman Ajman Tourism Department, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman Ajman Planning and Municipality, Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the ruler's Court, and a number of senior officials, members of the University board of Trustees, Head and directors of government departments and Universities. Along with parents and family members of the graduating class of year of reading.
His Highness congratulated his sons on the graduation and wished them every success and a future brimming with success, stressing his keenness to support the university facilities in Ajman in order to meet the needs of present and future and he praised the prestige that Ajman University has reached and achieved in its tenure to further education in the region. He called upon his alumni sons who will enter the labor market now equipped with science and expertise to put this country onto the path of progress.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University emphasized that the future vision of the university is keen on having up-to-date developments in the global academic educational arena, which we are implementing in all areas of higher education.
The event program included a welcome speech by Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Acting Chancellor of Ajman University of Science and Technology who congratulated and encouraged the students who are graduating to fulfill their duty by being a responsible citizen. It was followed by the graduates’ speech and the conferring of the degrees marked the beginning of a new chapter in the students’ life. The parents, family members and friends cheered the graduates as they received their certificates.
